Charge filed over ‘inmate contact’

A 25-year-old Cameron resident, who had worked as a guard at the Rockdale Regional Justice Center, was charged Thursday in connection with alleged inappropriate contact with an inmate.

Disheka LaRae Westbrook was charged with violating the civil rights of a person in custody.

She was released after posting $7,500 bond.
