A fixture in Corsicana school and city life for almost 40 years, Don Denbow was selected Monday as the interim superintendent for the Rockdale ISD.
Denbow, a retired superintendent, was hired in a unanimous vote by RISD trustees after a marathon five-hour session in which four candidates for the interim job were interviewed. Full Story

Milam County’s jobless rate jumps

AUSTIN—Unemployment rates across the area saw a significant jump for June, according to numbers released by the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) on Friday.
