Burke-King wedding vows said in Denton


Mr. and Mrs. Austin Aaron King Mr. and Mrs. Austin Aaron King Susanna Elyse Burke of McKinney married Austin Aaron King of McKinney at 7 p.m. on July 12, 2013, in Denton.

Father Vincent Anyama performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Lillian Burke of Frisco and the groom is the son of Irven and Vicki King of Thorndale.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jim Burke.

Musical performers at the ceremony were pianist Jeffrey Ou and soloist Mari Payne.

Christina Burke of the Dallas area served as maid of honor and Mari Payne of the Dallas area was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Steffi Entzminger, Ashley Kendall and Melissa Morganti. Stella Richey of the Dallas area served as the flower girl.

Tyler King of Thorndale was the best man, while Dalton Hodge and Travis King, both of Thorndale, Johnny McNamara of Austin and John Sasson of College Station served as groomsmen.

The ring bearer was Carson King of Thorndale.

The reception was held at The Milestone in Denton.

A house party was given by Charleston and Jessica Lewis, Andres Salazar and Alexandria Wall.

The bride is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in art. She teaches art at a middle school in Frisco.

The groom is a Rockdale High School graduate and is studying nursing. He is currently in the Army Reserves and has served two tours of duty, one in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.

The couple plans to make their home in the Dallas area.
