GIDDINGS—Funeral services for Weaver Jay Marie Ender McCullough, 69, of Fedor were held Saturday, July 20, 2013, at St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln with Rev. Dale Bohm officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. McCullough died Wednesday, July 17, at Cedar View Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Austin.

She was born April 1, 1944, in Fedor to John A. and Ella (Fick) Ender. She was baptized on April 14, 1944, and confirmed on March 30, 1958, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fedor.

Mrs. McCullough attended Trinity Lutheran School in Fedor.

She mar r ied George S. McCullough Jr. on Jan. 11, 1964, at Christ Lutheran Church in Austin.

While living in Austin, Mrs. McCullough worked in retail and took care of children.

She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church in Lincoln, where she had served as a Sunday school teacher and was a member of the Ladies Aid.

She was a member of the Lincoln Volunteer Fire Department, the Lincoln Community Center and the Lutheran Braille Workers.

Mrs. McCullough also served as an officer and volunteered her time with Rejuvenation in Giddings.

She enjoyed quilting, cross stitching, knitting, cooking and gardening and was an avid reader who never missed her daily Bible study.

Mrs. McCullough was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ella Ender.

Survivors are her husband, George “Mack” McCullough Jr. of Fedor; two sons and daughters in-law, Joseph and Brenda McCullough of Rockdale, Daniel and Melissa McCullough of Austin; six grandchildren, Jacob McCullough of Serbin, Madison McCullough and Hayden McCullough, both of Austin, Cheynne McCullough, Sheila Jones and Dominique Jones, all of Rockdale; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Leroy and Mildred Ender of Austin, Milton and Gerry Ender of Fedor; also, numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were Doug Ender, Jeff Ender, Brian Ender, Jacob McCullough, Bailey Ender and Hayden McCullough.
