Clayton

Funeral services for Patricia Graves Clayton, 59, were held Saturday, July 27, 2013, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial followed in I.O.O.F Cemetery. Pastor Lance Walch of Forest Grove Christian Church officiated.

Ms. Clayton died Sunday, July 21, at her home in Bartlett.

She was born March 15, 1954, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Sherwood and Alene (Sizemore) Graves.

Ms. Clayton lived in Bartlett the past six months and was formerly of Rockdale.

She worked in nursing, taking care of the elderly and home care for over 30 years.

Ms. Clayton enjoyed arts and crafts, going to and selling at arts and craft shows, and baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors are a son, Justin Clayton of Rockdale; four daughters, Sheree Cornstubble of Leander, Mistey Jennings of Hutto, Jessica Peters of Bartlett, Amie Leann Clayton of Nixa, Missouri; a sister, Charlotte Welch of Springfield, Missouri; and an uncle, Harold Graves of Glendale, Arizona; also, 12 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Justin Clayton, Chasten Jennings, Drew Lopez, Desmond Lopez, Ross Scott and Harold Graves.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
