MCRTA SCHOLARSHIP—



Karen Brockenbush, a 2013 graduate of Sam Houston State University, has received the Milam County Retired Teachers “Future Teacher” scholarship. The daughter of Floyd and MCRTA member Kathleen Brockenbush, she earned a degree in interdisciplinary studies with a minor in Early Childhood Development. MCRTA awards a scholarship of up to $300 to Milam County college graduates that have earned a degree in a teaching field. From left are Susan Larson, MCRTA treasurer, Karen and Kathleen Brockenbush.
