89 Tigers open workouts to prepare for 2013
Jeff Miller welcomed 89 players as he oversaw his eighth two- a- days that got underway bright- and- early Monday morning with cool breezes taking the edge off the stifling heat.
This year’s version of summer workouts are more important than usual as the Tigers break in a new quarterback with a new offensive scheme while also introducing a new defensive coordinator. Full Story
Strelsky competes at Cali camp
MISSION VIEJO, CA.—Attending the United States Wheelchair Camp could be a once-ina lifetime opportunity, so Dustin Strelsky soaked it all in.
Thirty-two young wheelchair athletes were invited to the camp and Rockdale’s Strelsky was the lone player from the state of Texas to attend, which included players from six countries. Full Story
Alumni tournament raises $5,000 for RHS golf program
New junior golf tourney kicks off annual event
Fifty seven players and many sponsors helped raise $5,000 for the RHS golf program during the third annual alumni and friends golf tournament held July 27 at the Rockdale Country Club. The event was sponsored by the club’s Mens Golf Association. Full Story
