Six draw court terms

CAMERON—Six persons were sentenced in 20th District Court last week, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey who listed them as follows:

• Jordan DeShawn Deary, 20, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, attempted unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, 70-day county jail term.

• Daniel James Stewart, 25, El Paso, pleaded guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, attempted possession of controlled substance (less than one gram), two years deferred adjudication probation, $2,500 fine, $140 restitution to DPS.

• Bing Kun Yi, 20, Allen, pleaded guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, attempted possession of controlled substance ( less than one gram), two years deferred adjudication probation, $2,500 fine, $140 restitution to DPS.

• Willie Earl Malone, 53, Gause, pleaded guilty to theft (less than $1,500) with priors, two-year state jail term, probated two years, $500 restitution.

• Mary Ann Rodriguez, 27, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to burglary of habitation, seven years deferred adjudication, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, $1,000 fine, $470 restitution to victim.

• Henry Taylor Jr., 41, Cameron, pleaded guilty to sex offender duty to register, two-year prison term, standard sex offender probation, completion of sex offender treatment, $500 fine and court costs.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
