Four sentenced in court

CAMERON— Four persons were sentenced in 20th District Court during the past week, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey, who listed case dispositions as follows:

• Charles Henry Ellison III, 33, Cameron, pleaded guilty to theft, two-year state jail term.

• Jerry Presley Cranford, 35, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, pleaded guilty to Class A misdemeanor attempted forgery of financial instrument, two years deferred adjudication, $2,500 fine, $442.75 restitution.

• Billy Joe Pittman Jr., 28, Cameron pleaded gui lt y to attempted robbery, seven years deferred adjudication probation, $2,500 fine, restitution to be determined. His current probation was modified to include completion of Substance Abuse Felony Punishment program.

• Jonathan Lars, 23, Cameron, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver, five-year prison term. He also pleaded guilty to evading arrest with motor vehicle and received a second five-year prison term.
