QUIET BEFORE THE STORM—Last week this is how the halls of Rockdale ISD schools looked. It’s a different story after Monday when the 2013-14 school term began with 1,532 students showing up the first day and enrollment expected to grow by week’s end. Before schools opened, though, the Rockdale ISD School Board took its annual pre-term tour of all four facilities.
