Go Big Blue (buttons)

Seen the new blue reflective buttons in the middle of streets all over town? Know what they are? Just look to the curb because they’re always near a fire plug. In fact, that’s their job, quick ways to tell firefighters the location of the nearest hydrant, especially at night. City employees Rabbit Tindle (L) and Geovanny Contes had the installation procedure down to a science and the project is complete in all areas of town. The reflective buttons were proposed for the city by the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department and were approved by the city council at its July regular meeting by a unanimous vote.
