Two arrested for drug charges by DPS trooper on Saturday

Two Rockdale men were arrested Saturday by the Department of Public Safety and charged with drug offenses.

Trooper J. C. Brooks arrested 19-year- old Quillan Marquis Davis and 36-year- old Benny Earl Green and booked them into the county jail.

Both were charged with possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams) and Davis was also charged with possession of marijuana under two ounces.

As of Tuesday, both men remained in custody in lieu of $101,000 bond for Davis and $100,000 bond for Green.
