KILGORE— Memorial serv i ces for Rober t “ ReBob” Hoskins Jr., 66, of Kilgore were held on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at 2 pm at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with Chaplain Carey Ponder officiating, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Ki lgore. Mr. Ho s ­k ins passed away on Friday, Aug. 30, in Kilgore. Robert was born on July 4, 1947 in Dallas.

He ser ved in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War and worked for Skeeter Boats for 20 years.

Robert enjoyed reading and working on Bows and tinkering with fishing poles.

Robert will be truly missed but never forgotten by all the loving family and friends he leaves behind.

He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Kathy Hoskins of Kilgore; daughters, Melissa Matthews and husband Jim of Tatum, Kimberly Yarnell and f iancé, Dee Jarvis of Kilgore,

Tamara Simon of Kilgore, Erin Moreno of Winnie; sons, Matthew Simon and Andrew Simon, both of Winnie; mother, Mina Hoskins of Longview; sisters, Tina Praesel of Orange, as well as four other sisters; three brothers; 14 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren and special friend, Kenneth Davis of Kilgore; mother-in-law Silvia Hatchel, and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Fred Hoskins Sr., and one sister.
