Robinson

Thomas Paul Robinson, 95, peacefully passed away Saturday Sept. 7, 2013, in Houston.

Born in Minerva on April 24, 1918, he was the son of the late David and Grace Robinson.

Mr. Robinson was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Vera Hazel Robinson of Rockdale.

Survived by three daughters and son-in-law, Delta and James Wright of Houston, who lovingly provided care to him throughout the years, Judy Valladares of Universal City, Jan Howard of Greenville, SC; five grandchildren, Wade Wright, Kerr y Wright, Terri Hardin of Houston, Lance Denny of Round Rock, LaDonna Will iams of Universal City; 11 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Hicks of El Campo.

Paul received an honorable discharge from the U. S. Army Dec. 18, 1945. He will be remembered as a man with many stories.

The family expresses their sincere gratitude to The Hampton at Spring Shadows staff for the loving care given to their father. May God Bless Daddy’s Angels, Stephanie, Patrizia and Tara.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Rev. Jack Chelf of First Baptist Church officiated. Visitation was held Tuesday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
