Over 100 persons celebrated for the 60th Anniversary of First Presbyterian Church’s founding and Memorial Prayer Garden Dedication Sunday. Rev. David Pussman led worship while former pastor Rev. Kathy Trevino participated. Ronnie Holloman, senior director of ministry and church transitions represented Grace Presbytery (PCUSA), and Milam County Judge Dave Barkemeyer presented a proclamation. Former ministers Rev. Robert Lam, Rev. Trish Holland and Rev. Rich Poole, sent greetings but were unable to attend. Adult children of several of the founding members were present, traveling from as far as New York and Alabama, as well as many other former members, friends and neighbors.
