Reporter/Cliff Dungan The Rockdale Lady Tigers got off to a rough start in District 18-3a action, falling to Madisonville and College Station.

The Lady Tigers are 15-13 overall and 0-2 in district play.

Madisonville (21-8, 2-0) defeated Rockdale 27-25, 25-21, 25-15 at Tiger Gymnasium Tueaday night.

Middle blocker Shelby Evans was front- and- center for the Lady Tigers with 11 kills, nine blocks, seven digs and a service ace.

Dae Dae Robertson chipped in nine kills, wjhile Amanda Boyd dished off 14 assists with seven digs.

Emily McCoy added nine digs and Morgan Laughlin and Joli Carpenter seven each.

The Lady Tigers took on defending league champions College Station (18-17, 2-0) and were dominated on the road 25-11, 25-15, 25-7.

Evans logged five kills, seven digs and seven saves as McCOy had eight digs and Laughlin and Keelie McKeehan seven digs each.
