Dynasty theme takes 1st place
It wasn’t a “Si-intistic” project but the Rockdale High School sophomore class captured top float honors in last Wednesday’s homecoming parade.

Blue spikers rally after losing early lead
After squandering an early lead, the Rockdale Lady Tigers rallied to hold off Navasota 25-20, 25-16, 18-25, 22-25, 15-11 in a marathon match on the road Tuesday night for their first Distrct 18-3A victory.
The Lady Tigers improved to 16-14 overall and stand 1-3 in district action as the sec- ond half of district play begins Tuesday. Full Story

Thorndale Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored Skeeter the Clown in an informative program at both the Thorndale Elementary and the St. Paul Lutheran School in Thorndale on Oct. 2.
