Sheriff’s SIU drug raid nets arrest of Cameron man

The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the Milam County Sheriff’s Department completed an investigation into possible marijuana trafficking by executing a search warrant Oct. 2.

Chief Deputy Chris White said the warrant was executed in the 100 block of North Bowie in Cameron and 49-year-old Leotis Quincy Miller was charged with possession of marijuana (less than two ounces), a Class B misdemeanor, and was released after posting $1,500 bond.

White said a small amount of marijuana, as well as drug paraphernalia used for smoking crack cocaine was located.
