Picture-perfect weekend for Fair-goers
Early- week rains moved out, crisp fall weather moved in and af ter- dark Fair- goers hunted up the coats they hadn’t worn since February.
The Fair had some new looks, like upgraded fencing and brighter lights in the show barn, but many of the old favorite events were there again in 2013.
It was a record setting year as well, with the annual youth livestock sale, commercial heifer sale, ag mechanic projects and baked goods bringing in a total of $389,876. More than any other Fair.
Here’s a page of some of the best looks at what was definitely a picture-perfect weekend at Fair Park.
