SO investigates death of 3-year-old

SHERIFF’S REPORT

The Milam County Sheriff’s Department continues to investigate the death of a three-yearold boy in the Davilla area, a death Chief Deputy Chris White said investigators think is “probably the result of a severe asthma attack.”

White said deputies were notified the child had stopped breathing and he was flown to Scott & White Hospital, Temple, where physicians were unable to revive him.

White said interviews with parents, and the child’s medical history, pointed to an asthma attack. “An autopsy was ordered to rule out any other possibilities,” he said.
