Schultz

Memorial services for Douglas Eugene Schultz, 63, are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at his home in Bartlett.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Tetter Cemetery in Humble.

Mr. Schultz died Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at his home in Davilla.

He was born May 15, 1950, in Houston to August and Rosie Ruth (Rodgers) Schultz.

Mr. Schultz served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1968 to 1971.

He married Sheryl Hamilton on Feb. 29, 1983, in Houston.

Mr. Schultz was a truck driver for over 30 years working for J. H. Rose Truck Line in Houston. He also worked for a number of other trucking companies.

He lived in the Davilla community for the past nine years, moving there from Houston.

Mr. Schultz was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and a sister.

Survivors are his wife, Sheryl Schultz of Davilla; two sons, Alton Eugene Schultz, Shane Allen Schultz and wife Savanna Maria, all of Tomball; a daughter, Sarah Marie Schultz of Taylor; three brothers, Roy Schultz and wife Gerry of Humble, Fred Schultz and wife Betty of Hempstead, Vernon Schultz and wife Maggie of Tomball; two sisters, Dorothy Teale and Ruthie Hobbs, both of Tomball; two sisters-in-law, Ester Schultz of Moss Hill, Gale Schultz of Tomball; and five grandchildren, Colby Thomas Fronek, Skylar Genett Schultz, Silas Steven Schultz, Casey Rose- Lynn Schultz and Kendall Rose Schultz.
