Fair sale total now $252,051
Late added money increases auction
The record breaking youth livestock auction at the 2013 Rockdale Fair has kept right on breaking records long after the last stall was cleaned up.
Cindy Hughes, sale secretary, said during the past week another $16,200 was received for animals sold during the Oct. 19 auction at Fair Park.
That raises the overall total to $252,051 from the $235,851 announced last week. Full Story

Ken Esten Cooke summed up the closeness of the members of the 2013 class of the Rockdale Hall of Honor by having a Kodak moment.

Lady Tigers earn first playoff berth since 2006
