Pflugerville woman faces scam charges

A 50-year- old Pf lugerville woman wanted on numerous theft charges throughout Central Texas was booked into the Milam County Jail on Monday.

Nina Kay Moore was f irst arrested in Montgomery County last January after a series of complaints on persons being defrauded by a woman posing as a realtor.

Several Cameron area residents had contacted authorities last winter to report a woman had taken money from them.

After Moore’s name and photo received widespread publicity, persons ranging from McLennan County to Georgetown and Austin came forth and reported similar incidents.

Moore was charged with 14 counts of theft of property and remains incarcerated on bonds totaling $370,000.
