CAMERON—Gleta Ann Wallace, 57, of Texarkana, formerly of Cameron, died Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, in Texarkana.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Ms. Wallace was born in Houston and raised in Cameron.

She graduated from C.H. Yoe High School in 1975 and Sam Houston State University in 1979 and had lived in Atlanta for the past 20 years.

Ms. Wallace was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bernice Wallace; two sisters, Margaret “Peggy” Thomas and Leslie (Deenie) Campbell; and a brother, Alton “Mike” Reed.

Survivors are two daughters, Lesi Jo and husband Ken Fredrick, Kelsee Ann Edmondson, all of Texarkana; a brother, Joe Wallace and wife Debbie of Cameron; two sisters, Carol Smith and husband Waylon of Queen City, Karen Calvert and husband Bruce of Crane Hill, Alabama; a brother-in-law, Tommy Thomas of Huffines; three grandchildren, Kanye, Shelby and JourneƩ of Texarkana; and an uncle, Gabriel Cavazes of Cameron; also, numerous nieces and nephews.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
