Rockdale rebates down for November
MDD, county checks stay just above from last November
AUSTIN—Texas Comptroller Susan Combs said that state sales tax revenue in October was $2.14 billion, up 5.4 percent compared to October 2012.
Combs sent out $654.6 million in October local sales tax allocations last week to cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose taxing districts. That is up 7.0 percent compared to the same time in 2012. Full Story
City permits just $3,900 to start new fiscal year
Building permits for the City of Rockdale have started out a little slow to begin the 2014 fiscal year, according to numbers released last week by city hall.
Pemits for the month of October, which marked the first month of the new fiscal year, totaled just $3,900. Full Story
