Venue change would double jury expense

EFH bankruptcy wouldn’t stop reclamation
Even if Luminant’s parent company files for bankruptcy, as has been forecast, the company would still have reclaimed land it has mined and must be bonded in order to keep mining.

Medicare plan review set Friday at One-Stop
The Area Agency on Aging of Central Texas, the designated State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) for Central Texas, will be at the One-Stop Center conference room Friday to meet with Medicare beneficiaries concerning health and prescription drug plan options for 2014.

FOOD DRIVE DONATION—
The Rockdale 4-H Club collected and donated non-perishable food items at its November meeting to help with the local Lions Club Community Food Drive. The 4-Hers donated over 60 pounds of food items to the local food pantry to help families during the upcoming holiday season. Full Story

I have word that there will not be a Community Thanksgiving dinner this year. However, we will be having the Community Thanksgiving worship service at 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 at the Gause Baptist Church. If you or you know of someone who would like to bring special music let me know. Full Story
