Bronzes of Ft. Hood victims displayed

The Bistro Restaurant in downtown Cameron the 13 bronzes for the Fort Hood “Nov. 5, 2009, Memorial will be on display from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5

Among the bronzes will be the one for Mike Cahill, the civilian retired chief warrant officer who was killed. He was a physician assistant from Cameron and was associated with Dr. Sidney Richardson’s office until he began work at Ft Hood in 2003.

Each bronze was designed by the family of each of the fallen. Troy Kelley, the designer of the memorial and artist and other memorial board members will be at the restaurant to answer any questions you concerning the memorial.

The planned Fort Hood Nov. 5 2009 Memorial will be built in Killeen.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
