St. Paul school musical rescheduled for Sunday

THORNDALE— Because of the success of the Thorndale Bulldog football team, the St. Paul Lutheran School has moved the date and time of its annual Christmas musical.

The performance is now set for 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 at the school’s Family Activity Center. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the auditorium will be open for those who prefer an inside wait.

This year’s musical is an adaptation of “Back to the Manger” by Christy Semsen. A group of young people find the meaning of Christmas by traveling back through time in a special Time Machine. The play has humorous undertones and lively music that help share the true story of Christmas in a unique way.

The program will open with a few selections by band members under the direction of Lee Thomason followed by the talented Lil’ Lions of the Pre-K four-year-olds class.

Following the performance there will be a feast of cookies to share in the East Wing.
