Thorndale Chamber welcomes new business

The Christmas Open House for Thorndale’s newest business was up and running for the holiday season. Thorndale Floral hosted an Open House on Saturday, with beautiful decorations for the holidays in every area of their new location in downtown Thorndale, 101 South Main Street.

If you have not stopped by to browse the store, you have missed a treat. Beautiful trees and all manner of decorations for the season plus beautiful poinsettias and other floral arrangements for your special occasions during the season are available. Owner Jimmy Kemnitz would be more than happy to show you his Christmas keepsakes, ornaments, wreaths, and fresh and artificial centerpieces and help you with your home decorating. You can also reach them at 512-898-4104 or www.Thorndale-Floral.com.

In addition, the Thorndale Area Chamber of Commerce )TACC) will send out membership notices for 2014 this week. We hope that you will join us as we seek to enhance the business climate in and bring family-friendly events to Thorndale. We take individual memberships as well as business memberships. Please call Brian Morton at 512-658-5378 or Darleen Tucker at 512-898-2727 for more information. Membership forms are also located on our website, www.thorndaletx.com.

The next meeting of the TACC will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18 to avoid a conflict with Christmas Day and visitors are always welcome.
