FOR ALL AGES—

Saturdays activities drew lots of kids (of all ages) to the I&GN Depot-Wolf Park area despite chilling temperatures and unrelenting north winds.

Above, bundled up parents, relatives and spectators support young dancers under Wolf Park pavilion. There was musical entertainment at the pavilion during the run-up to Saturday night’s parade.

Middle, the working blacksmith forge at the depot-museum was a popular place to browse and it didn’t hurt a thing that the forge required an open fire.

Below, you’re never too young to visit Santa and 7-month-old Brantley Slusher was obviously enjoying his visit in the depot. Santa (Tony Walko) was on hand from 4 to 6 p.m., then participated in the 6:30 p.m. parade.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
