Students from Rockdale High School, Rockdale Junior High and Milano High School were among the many volunteers that converged on the KC Hall Monday morning to start boxing up items for the annual Rockdale Christmas Roundup. The program provides toys and food to needy children and families in the Rockdale and South Milam County area during the holidays. Almost 1,000 individuals in 250 family units were served by the program this year, according to organizers. Above, RHS sophomores Jake Land and Katy Salazar get meal boxes ready. Several more voluteers delivered items to families on Tuesday morning.
