Perfect attendance bike winners

Winners have been announced for the Attendance Inncentive Bicycle Reward at Rockdale elementary and intermediate schools, according to counselor Keely Reisner. At right, intermediate winners Kobe Mitchell and Katia Hernandez, both fourth graders. Above, elementary winners first grader Madisynn Ibares and second grader Anthony Hockman. Each semester the elementary and intermediate campuses give away a bike to one boy and one girl for perfect attendance. “Each student that achieved perfect attendance for the fall semester had their name put in a drawing to win the bike,” Reisner said. Those donating funds for the bikes included: Miller-Starnes Chevrolet Buick, Rockdale Country Ford, Lee’s Landing, Floyd and Dawn Byrd, Judith Matula, Phillips & Lucky Funeral Home, Paul Dixon with Edward Jones, Terry Browning with Edward Jones and Pruett Insurance. Reisner said all that support is much appreciated, as well as Academy Sports and Outdoors in Temple for “giving a wonderful deal when purchasing bikes.”
