Photography workshop set for January 18th

I f you want to take better photos then sign-up for the Photography Workshop set for Saturday, Jan. 18. You will get information on basic photography, lighting, still life, judging, contest entries and lots more.

Leroy Williamson, a longtime professional photographer, along with Elizabeth and Emma Cof fman, Bell County 4-H adult and teen photography leaders will be the presenters for the workshop. Emma won first with her state 4-H Photography Recordbook and has assisted with the development of the new State 4-H Photography Judging Contest. All of the speakers have presented at the State 4-H Photography Training and have lots of great tips to share with us.

Mi lam Count y 4- H is sponsoring the photography workshop at the New Salem Clubhouse at Fair Park in Rockdale. The workshop will start at 9 a.m. and finish about 3:30 p.m. A pizza lunch will be provided for the program participants.

You will also need to bring your cameras, so you will be able to practice techniques shared during the training. It will be a hands-on day of learning.

The training will be free to Milam County 4-Hers and leaders. If you are not a current 4-Her or leader, you can attend by paying a $20 registration fee. In order for handouts to be prepared, we need everyone to register by Jan. 15.
