School resumed Monday for teachers and Tuesday for students. On Thursday, the junior high boys and girls will play basketball games against Allen Academy at 5 p.m. in the Gause gym.

Next Thursday through Sat- urday, Jan. 16-18 will be the annual Gause Junior High Basketball Tournament. This is a great time to see these youth from around our area play. The Gause Athletic Booster Club will have a full concession stand. Watch the games and support the Booster Club.

Trisha and Gary Shaw hosted the Garrison Family Christmas on Dec. 29 at t heir countr y home in Gause. While talking with Trisha she told me about son Robin and family spending their Christmas vacation in New York. There also visited several other places including Salem, Mass., where Trisha was born, New Jersey, Niagara Falls and into Canada. They reported seeing plenty of snow and having a great time. Robin and family live in the Metroplex area of Texas.
