Rodriguez

Mass for Jose “ Pulin” A. Rodriguez, 25, of Thorndale was held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale with burial in St. Monica’s Cemetery in Cameron. Father Raymon Frayna of St. Joseph Catholic Church officiated.

Mr. Rodriguez died Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2013, after an auto accident near Rice’s Crossing.

He was born Nov. 26, 1988, in Mexico to Antonio and Rafaela (Torres) Rodriguez.

The family moved to Thorndale where he was a 2007 graduate of Thorndale High School.

After graduation, Mr. Rodriguez worked as a welder in the construction business.

Survivors are two sons, Ismael Rodriguez and Julian Isacc Rodriguez of Cameron; his parents, Antonio and Rafaela Rodriguez of Thorndale; two sisters, Crystal Rodriguez and fiancée Tomas Cardona and Kendra Rodriguez, all of Thorndale; his grandparents, Martina and Julian Torres and Eugenia Chavira, all of Mexico; and a nephew, Tomas L. Cardona of Thorndale.

Pallbearers were Tomas Cardona, Rene Rodriguez, Benito Rodriguez, Mario Rodriguez, Carlos Rodriguez and Enrique Rodriguez.

The burn ban for Milam County has been lifted. Burning is always prohibited in the county's municipalities.
