Cjakowski looking for world meet sponsorship

The meet is on May 18 in Denmark and Cjakowski is needing sponsorship to cover the $3,000 cost for the trip.

Cjakowski, a 2013 Rockdale graduate, became the first powerlifting state champion in school history in March of last year.

Cjakowski, who is 5-foot-4, 180 pounds, broke three high school records, a Texas state record and a national record.

He also captured a silver medal at the men’s national meet.

In Denmark, he will compete in the junior division, 18-24 years old.

Crazy Tees T-shirt shop is sponsoring a T-shirt benefit for him. Shirts are $20 and $22. The shirt comes in red or blue with white writing and has USA and Jamie on the front and on the back.
