POSGCD to hold public hearing on amending rules

Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District (POSGCD) will hold a public hearing on the “Rules of Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District” at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 20.

The board of directors will consider amending the rules at the board meeting following the public hearing.

The amendments considered will include the District’s rules applicable to production of groundwater for uses by oil and gas industry.

The public hearing and board meeting will be conducted at the District office, located at 310 East Avenue C in Milano.

All interested persons are invited to attend and provide public comment.

A copy of the rules, dated June 12, 2012, can be accessed on the District’s website, www.posgcd.org, or will be provided upon request by mail to the above POSGCD address or by e-mail to the above e-mail address.

Information related to the above referenced items and public hearings are available to the public for inspection, review and copying at Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District offices during office hours from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
