Nine sentenced in 20th District Court action

CAMERON—Nine persons were sentenced last week in 20th District Court, according to Prosecutor Bill Torrey, who listed case dispositions:

• Jose David Salazar, 25, Rockdale pleaded guilty to assault on a public servant, two-year prison term.

• Joe Ramos III, 21, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to burglary of a building, 15-month state jail term.

• Angela Dawn Moore, 35, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, three years deferred adjudication probation, successfully complete substance abuse facility program, $1,000 fine, $140 restitution to DPS.

• George Lee Lane, 43, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, two-year prison term probated four years, substance abuse evaluation and any recommended treatment, $2,500 fine, $140 restitution to DPS.

• Joshua Thomas Seaton, 18, Buckholts, pleaded guilty to debit card abuse, three years deferred adjudication probation, $1,500 fine, $389 restitution to victim.

• Frederick James Goss, 41, Rockdale, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, eight-month county jail term.

• Misty Dawn Amalbert, 35, Cameron, pleaded guilty to prohibited item in correctional facility, three years deferred adjudication probation, complete Central Texas Treatment Center, $1,500 fine.

• Larry Donnell Jackson Sr., 61, Cameron, pleaded guilty to attempted tampering with evidence, three years deferred adjudication probation, $2,000 fine, $140 restitution to DPS.

• Shayne Edward Wegscheid, 27, Thorndale, pleaded guilty to a lesser included Class A misdemeanor, assault causing bodily injury, oneyear deferred adjudication, $2,000 fine.
