Mr. Glaser Mr. Glaser CAMERON—Funeral services for Willie Fred Glaser, 100, of Cameron, formerly of Rosebud and Buckholts, were held Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, in the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Gary Kleypas officiating. Burial followed at Woodland Cemetery in Rosebud.

Mr. Glaser died Monday, Feb. 10, in a Cameron nursing facility.

He was born Nov. 5, 1913, in Cameron to Fritz and Annie (Siebert) Glaser.

Mr. Glaser was a member of both Salem Lutheran Church and Hope Lutheran Church for many years and was a retired farmer and rancher.

He served on the Milam County School Board and Buckholts I.S.D. School Board, in which he was past president.

Mr. Glaser enjoyed following all family athletic events, playing bingo and dominoes, was a baseball fan and player, and a hunter.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise; his second wife, Frieda; two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors are two sons, Carroll Glaser and wife Sandy of Rockdale, James Glaser of Rogers; a stepson, Joe Lee Marek and wife Nancy of Rosebud; a stepdaughter, Jo Ann Pemberton and husband Stanton of Temple; a brother, Johnny Glaser of Temple; his grandchildren, Julie Glaser Loth and husband Tom, Steven Glaser and wife Rachel, Allyson Glaser Abbott and husband Chris, Deborah Glaser Bedrich and husband Joseph, Darrell Glaser and wife Shannon, Bob Pemberton and wife Becky, Jayne Pemberton Thorp, Kimberly Marek and Steven Marek.

Also, his great-grandchildren, Jason Bedrich, Lauren Bedrich, Trenton Glaser, Troy Glaser, Trevor Glaser, Travis Glaser, Pearce Loth, Ross Loth, Stryker Sulak, Brittany Sulak, Emma Grace Glaser, Harley Jo Sulak, Bria Glaser, Greta Glaser, Caroline Abbott, Callen Abbott, Ella Pemberton, Harris Pemberton and Beckett Thorp.

Pallbearers were Darrell Glaser, Steven Glaser, Bob Pemberton, Steven Marek, Joseph Bedrich, Tom Loth, Chris Abbott and Pearce Loth.
