Mr. Randall Mr. Randall Funeral services for Ted “T.J.” Randall, 87, of Rockdale will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, at Peace Lutheran Church in Rockdale with Pastor Ed Truelson officiating. Burial with military honors will be at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Visitation is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home.

Mr. Randall died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2014, at Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock.

He was born Oct. 1, 1926, in Des Moines, Iowa, to James and Vesta Randall.

Mr. Randall served in the U.S. Navy in Iwo Jima and Okinawa.

He married Joan Sandvold on March 20, 1949, in Roland, Iowa.

Mr. Randall was a lifelong member of VFW and was also a member of Rotary and Lions Club.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and woodworking.

Mr. Randall worked for Alcoa as an ingot supervisor and worked several overseas assignments in Norway, Wales, Hong Kong and Surinam. He retired in 1988.

The Randalls moved to Point Comfort in 1950, to Delphi, Indiana, in 1965, to Maryville, Tennessee, in 1969 and finally to Rockdale in 1972, where they lived for 42 years.

Mr. Randall was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Randall, on March 21, 2013; his parents; two sons, Steve James Randall and Douglas Eric Randall; two grandchildren, Jaime Randall and Bryan Scarborough Randall; and a sister, Wilma Ruth Spungin.

Survivors are two sons, Scott Juel Randall of Rockdale, Daniel Lee Randall of Tomball; a daughter, Becky Randall Haupt of Rockdale; 12 grandchildren, Nick and Kelsy Randall, Christopher, Jeremy and Daniel Haupt, AnnaMarie and Ashley Randall, Carrie and Melissa Randall, and Cameron, Katzy and Kylie Randall; three great-grandchildren, Shelbi Haupt, Gaven Umbaugh and Lawson Randall; and two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Sandvold of Roland, Iowa, and Lois Sanvold of Nevada, Iowa.

Pallbearers will be Chris Haupt, Jeremy Haupt, AnnaMarie Randall, Nick Randall, Daniel Haupt and Cameron Randall. Honorary pallbearers are Mark Brady, Jack Drake, John Havins, Glade Lantz, Fred Rhodes and Bill Avrett.
