‘HALL OF HONOR’—
Rockdale Chamber of Commerce held an open house last Wednesday in the renovated Hogan-Hall Building adjacent to the organization’s rock house headquarters. The building was named in honor of two Rockdale businessmen, the late W. P. “Red” Hogan and Bill Hall. It was originally the garage for the rock house which became Chamber headquarters. Full Story
Jason and Erica Starnes of Houston announce the birth of their daughter, Caroline Reese Starnes, at 1:44 p.m. Feb. 6, 2014, in Memorial City Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. THORNDALE—The Milam County Health department and Thorndale Police Department hosted a health fair at the Chamber of Commerce building Saturday.
Health department nurses performed blood pressure checks, blood sugar checks, and provided healthy eating information, along with information on your vaccines preventable diseases. Full Story
