Milam’s ag interests being well served
Recently, I was invited to speak to the Milam County Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
Ag value of all Milam County land ($63 million) makes up only 3% of our tax base. As long as we’re depending on property taxes for funding our local government, agricultural land is not the answer. Full Story
