Busy spring at MISD

MISD REPORT
Robert Westbrook
Milano ISD Superintendent

I think all of our employees and students enjoyed spring break. They enjoyed the extra sleep in the mornings and just getting away from school routines. But, by the end of the week, most employees and students are ready to get back in the groove and push through to the end of the school year.

Even though school is closed for the week of spring break, school activities continued. We had district softball and district baseball games over spring break. With games going on, that means practices were occurring as well. Our baseball, softball and track teams had practices.

In addition, our Golf team had their district tournament on Monday of this week, the first day back from spring break. The boys defended their district title, capturing the district championship. Congratulations to Mick Mader, Derek Walton, Tyde Taylor and Alex Martin on an outstanding job.
