Spring Fling April 12

Cowgirls by Grace will present Shannon Perry during the Milam County Cowboy Church’s annual Spring Fling from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, April 12. Perry is a speaker, recording artist, author and radio host.

Lent at St. Thomas

Gospel singing March 29

San Gabriel Baptist Church will host an old-fashioned southern gospel singing at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 29, offering congregational singing, solos and groups and instrumental specials of southern gospel and contemporary Christian music, as well as traditional hymns.

Song requests are taken for congregational singing. Volunteers are accepted for solo or a group performance.

Refreshments will be served af ter the singing, said Tim Cheatham, pastor. “Everyone is invited.”

Men’s breakfast

An ecumenical monthly men’s Christian fellowship breakfast is held from 7 until 8 a.m. each second Tuesday, the site rotating between several local churches.

Next breakfast will be Tuesday, April 11 at First Presbyterian Church. Purpose is Christian fellowship and all men of the area are invited.
