Milano drops a pair in district play

The Milano Eagles dropped a 17-1 decision to Georgetown Gateway on Tuesday to fall to 2-3 overall and 1-2 in District 26A play.

Josh Lewis led the Eagles with a 2-for-3 showing at the plate.

On Thursday, Milano fell 5-3 to Granger at home. David Jentsch pitched the loss, striking out six batters.

The senior helped his own cause, going one of three at the plate including a home run.

Trent Ellison and Dillan Liscom were also one of three and Nick Bonordon was one of one at the plate.

The Eagles (2-2, 1-1) fell to Thorndale on the road March 11, losing 11-1.

Josh Lewis absorbed the loss, fanning three Bulldog batters.

Lewis was one for two at the plate and Jentsch was two for three with a run batted in (Lewis).
