Annual meeting draws 245
Fred Marshall, board chair, noted RFCU now has 7,770 members and assets totaling $69,129,000.
Marshall noted at last year’s meeting he asked members to “please come and borrow some money.”
He noted loans this year have increased to $21,264,000.
“I guess you heard me!” he laughed.
Marshall noted RFCU now has 3,920 checking accounts and has issued 4,110 debit cards.
ELECTION—In the main order of business for the evening, directors Milton Holmes, Henry James Bradford and Boyd Taylor were re- elected by acclamation without opposition.
Their names were placed in nomination by Robert Von Gonten, chairman of the nominating committee.
Earnesteen Smith, chair of the supervisory committee gave her annual report, noting that RFCU was in “excellent condition.”
Ron Montgomery, RFCU president, said he appreciated the dedication of all credit union members, thanked those present for attending and all members for their support.
“Without your support, we could not achieve the strength and longevity achieved over the last 44 years. You are appreciated,” he said.
Marshall served as master of ceremonies. Director L. C. Richards read the minutes from the 2013 general meeting.
DIRECTORS— RFCU board of directors members are: Marshall, chair; Jim Richter, vice- chair; Richards, secretary-treasurer; other directors, Holmes, Taylor, Bradford, Debra Jackson.
Supervisory Committee members are Smith (chair) Bob Loehr, Emelia Holder, Delaine Burgess and Mary Morgan.
