Along with the Spring weather, there are a lot of fun activities taking place in April.
This Saturday, the Little River Basin Master Gardeners will hold their annual Plant Sale from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Milam County Youth Expo Center in Cameron. It is located at 301 S. Houston St. (from Hwy 36/190 turn south on Houston St.)

Club members will be on hand to answer gardening questions.
It is sponsored by the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Agency.
Also happening this Saturday is the La Escuelita second annual Easter egg hunt and it is open to the public. It will be held at the La Escuelita grounds on US 79, just east of Rockdale.
Egg hunting will include age divisions 5 and under and 6-10 years.
The gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with hot dogs and punch/ tea served from 11 a. m. to noon and the egg hunt from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Music will be provided by Daniel Reynosa.
Casarones (confetti eggs) will be for sale, but in a limited supply, first come, first serve.
Relay For Life of Milam County will happen this Saturday, as well.
This year’s event, with the theme “Mission Possible: Milam County,” will start at noon on Saturday at Apache Pass, located off FM 908, approximately eight miles north of Rockdale.
All other Relay events in Milam County had been overnight events held at tracks or city parks in either Rockdale, Cameron or Thorndale, but this year’s committee decided to try something different.
Teams of people will “camp out” at the Apache Pass complex and take turns walking or running around a marked trail. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the 10-hour event.
Opening ceremonies will get under way at noon with an all-teams lap.
A soup and salad lunch for survivors and one guest will be held on the grounds at 1 p.m. with the survivor and caregivers lap at 2:30 p.m.
There will also be a silent auction from 1-5 p.m. and games and activities by the participating teams throughout the day.
The popular “Miss-ter Relay” contest will be held at 8:15 p.m.
Concessions and different booths are planned as well.
The luminaria ceremony is set to begin at 9 p.m., followed by closing ceremonies at 9:45 p.m. where the top teams and participants will be announced.
From 10 p.m. to midnight, Crash Landing will play at the Apache Pass pavilion.
