CAMERON—With added money still to be tallied, the annual Milam County Junior Livestock Show is assured of another record year in 2014.

Sandra Waiser, show secretary, said the total at the end of Saturday’s action was $183,607.

When the considerable added money total is figured in, the total is expected to be higher than the record $216,613, set last year.

Before the 2013 show, the record total was $200,582 , set in 2012.

$20,000 STEER— The grand champion steer was shown by Jonathan McAnulty of the Cameron FFA and was sold to a consortium of buyers for $20,000, a total that does yet reflect the added money.

McAnulty also had the grand champion steer in the 2013 Rockdale Fair, selling it for $19,625.
