Heintze

Services for Gloria Ann Heintze, 76, were held Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Gary Jackson, Allen Sanders and Jason Hollinger officiating. Burial was in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Mrs. Heintze died on Saturday, March 29, in Rockdale.

She was born Jan. 1, 1938, in Milam County to George Henry and Margaret Aline (Edelmon) Stephens.

Mrs. Heintze, a 1956 graduate of Rockdale High School, was a life long resident of Rockdale and Milam County.

She married Paul Heintze on March 3, 1956, at Murray Street Church of Christ in Rockdale.

Mrs. Heintze was a homemaker and worked a number of years for Rockdale ISD.

She was a member of Murray Street Church of Christ, enjoyed cooking, going to the farm to check the cattle with Mr. Heintze, gardening and going to school sporting events to watch her children and later her grandchildren.

Mrs. Heintze was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Holton.

Survivors are her husband, Paul Heintze of Rockdale; two sons, Paul Bryant Heintze and wife Ruby of Orlando, Florida, Jimmy Scott Heintze and wife Robin of Rockdale; a daughter, Shelly Elaine Sanders and husband Allen of Rockdale; seven grandchildren, Matthew Sanders, Joseph Sanders, Nicholas Heintze, Benjamin Heintze, Joanna Heintze, Paul Henry Heintze and Justin Gonzales; a great-grandchild, Madison Gonzales; and a sister, Anna Lou Towery and husband Tregg of Waco.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Matthew Sanders, Joseph Sanders, Nicholas Heintze, Benjamin Heintze, Paul Henry Heintze and Justin Gonzales.
