Ms. Hubert Ms. Hubert Graveside services for Kittie Joyce “Kay” Hubert, 80, of Bryan were held Thursday, March 27, 2014, in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. Pastor Jimmy Phillips of First Christ ian Church and Charles “Cotton” Hubert officiated.

Ms. Hubert died Monday, March 24, at her home in Bryan.

She was born Nov. 3, 1933, in Milam County to Bennie Dee and Kittie Zell (Tyler) Williams.

Ms. Hubert was a 1951 graduate of Rockdale High School.

She had lived in Bryan since 1974 and worked as a service representative for Verizon.

Ms. Hubert attended First Baptist Church in Bryan, was a mother and a cook, had been a PTA mother and enjoyed yard work and music.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Amanda Michelle Hubert.

Survivors are a son, James David Hubert of Taylor; a daughter, Carol Hubert of Bryan; three grandchildren, Natalie Lynn Araya of Olympia, Washington, Nori Hubert and Paul Hubert , both of Austin; a great-grandchild, Neona Araya; two sisters, Shirley Killingsworth and husband Howard of Mansfield, Dee Maines and husband Jim of Rockdale.

Memorials may be made to College Station Traditions Hospice, 1862 Rock Prairie Road, Suite 202, College Station, TX 77845.
